Breaking Into Cybersecurity + Federal Career Connection w/ Jeff Steadman
Jeffrey Steadman currently serves as the Director of Global Cybersecurity Operations for F100, and is responsible for the strategy and oversight of incident response, forensics, and cybersecurity intelligence operations teams. His prior experience includes strategic threat hunting, incident response, and investigations. He specializes in using organizational intelligence to build detections and mitigations, advising corporations and federal agencies on advanced adversary activities. Additionally, Jeffrey has testified as an expert and fact witness as a Computer Forensic Investigator. He holds a US Patent on a System and method for digital evidence analysis and authentication. It’s a conversation about what they did before, why they pivoted into cyber, what was the process they went through Breaking Into Cybersecurity, how you keep up, and advice/tips/tricks along the way. Federal Career Connection, Inc., is an all-volunteer-run program that consists of a cadre of federal insiders and workforce development experts, including hiring managers and trainers, who are grounded in community service and commitment to helping individuals in career transition.
